What is Chargerware?

Chargerware is a software distribution service to provide students, faculty and staff access to software that is free or covered by a campus license.

How do I access Chargerware?

Navigate to chargerware.uah.edu using a web browser.

What login credentials do I use?

Use your Charger credentials to log into Chargerware.

My login isn't working, what do I do?

Ensure you are using the proper credentials (Charger ID) or that caps lock isn't on. If the problem persists contact the OIT Help Desk.

What software do I have access to?

All software available to you, for the platform you are using, will be displayed upon logging into Chargerware.

What do I do if I want software that isn't listed?

The OIT Help Desk facilitates the purchase of other software for university-owned equipment. You may complete a software request form and submit it to the Help Desk for processing.

My download has stopped working, what do I do?

Check host site's download instructions for further information. When downloading files, make sure you have a wired connection. If additional assistance is required, contact the OIT Help Desk.
