UAHuntsville students receive Alabama Space Grant Consortium Fellowships and Scholarships

Six students at UAHuntsville were recently awarded NASA funded Alabama Space Grant Consortium Fellowships and Scholarships. The Alabama Space Grant Consortium (ASGC), is a member of the NASA National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program. In Alabama, more than $500,000 is awarded in Space Grant Scholarships and Fellowships each year.

UAHuntsville students testing miniature satellite in a microgravity environment

Next week, seven students from The University of Alabama in Huntsville will fly to NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston to test their miniature satellite in a microgravity environment. But that flight will be tame compared to what they will experience as they find out how strong their stomachs are on multiple flights aboard NASA’s “Vomit Comet.”

UAHuntsville's Lori Lioce to serve as vice president of international nursing organization
