Song Tune, by Thomas Campian.
I recorded this at home with a poor quality microphone using audacity. The only things modified were the volume and panning of each part. It consists of three separate guitar parts.
This is my second project. I was able to bring in a vocalist, Tyler Nafe. Each track was recorded at separate times. There are two separate vocal tracks, and one rhythm guitar track. All the effects were added later. They include on the Guitar, reverb, equalization, flange, and a small amount of chorus. The flange and reverb are unmistakable. The vocals had equalization and reverb added to emphasize the tone and timbre of Tyler's voice.
This was my final project. It was again recorded with Tyler Nafe, my vocalist. We recorded both the guitar and vocals simultaneously. After we had laid a rough foundation, I recorded the guitar over again. Then Tyler recorded verses on one track and the chorus on another. This helped to conserve his vocal chords energy for the loud and high pitched notes. It also made it easier to manipulate the tracks. The difficulty was attempting to mimic the effects and timbre between them. A lot of reverb and equalization were used as well as compression and volume envelopes. The guitar had reverb, equalization and a slight chorus added to it's track. There are a few bits of delay and echo as well on voice and guitar.
