Rock, Rap, 'n Roll allows a student to create music by putting together short sound clips. Designed for elementary and middle school students, the program includes pre-recorded sound bites in ten different styles: Africa, Big band, Blues, Latin, Rap, Reggae, Rock Sampler, Soulful Sampler, Street Jazz, and Techno Pop. Each style offers ten different song loops, two configurable scratch knobs known as the "vibe-a-tron" and the "bop-o-rama," a variety of sounds that can be played on the computer keyboard, and eight different vocal clips. The student can even record new sounds to use in the program. Performances can be saved in "session mode" for later playback.
