Microsoft Multimedia Schubert, by Alan Rich, is in the same format as Microsoft Multimedia Beethoven and Microsoft Multimedia Mozart. Another exploratory music appreciation program for high school and college students, it includes a complete annotated performance of Schubert's Trout Quintet, as well as a biographical sketch of the composer, and an introduction to classical forms. A glossary, annotated bibliography, and game are also included. In this instance, the game involves matching short sound clips from the quintet.
