Acid Rock

While Acid Rock might appeal to younger students as well, it seems to be primarily designed for high school and college students. This program allows the student to create music by piecing together as many as eight different digital samples. More than 600 prerecorded sound loops are included with the program and any standard WAV file can be used as well. Additionally, new samples can be recorded directly into Acid Rock. Tempo and key can be changed for the entire piece, or the pitch can be shifted for individual segments of individual tracks.
