AREA V - Pre-Professional, Major, and Elective Courses (19-23 SH)

Students must choose 12 SH (for 128 SH programs) from the courses listed below:
SPN 101 Introductory Spanish I
SPN 102 Introductory Spanish II
SPN 201 Intermediate Spanish I
SPN 202 Intermediate Spanish II

The remaining hours must be selected from additional courses which are approved general education courses within Areas II and IV. No more than six hours may be taken in any one discipline, with the exception of foreign lanauges. Students are strongly encouraged to distribute coursework among the social sciences group, the humanities and fine arts group, and foreign languages. Students interested in pursuing the international trade focus are advised to take history and political science courses to fulfill Area IV and to complete Area V.
