AREA V - Pre-Professional, Major, and Elective Courses (19-23 SH / 31 QH)
Three hours to be chosen from among (AGSC Approved)
100-200 level courses which provide a general introduction to
philosophy or a general introduction to ethics.
The remaining hours in Area V must be fullfilled by selecting additional courses
which are approved general education courses within Areas II and IV. No more than
six hours may be taken in a single discipline, with the exception of foreign
language. Students are strongly encouraged to balance coursework among the social
sciences group, the humanities and fine arts group, and foreign languages. Students
must complete 6 hours of Western Civilization within the GERs (Area IV or Area V).
