Students must choose 12 SH (for 128 SH programs) from the courses listed below:

ENG 251 American Literature I
ENG 252 American Literature II
ENG 271 World Literature I
ENG 272 World Literature II
and
Introduction to Theatre (THR 126)
and
Fundamentals of Speech Communication (SPH 106) or
Fundamentals of Public Speaking (SPH 107)

The remaining hours must be selected from additional courses which are approved general education courses within Areas II and IV. Students are strongly encouraded to distribute coursework among the social science group, the humanities and fine arts group, and the foreign languages.
