The Huntsville Community

The city of Huntsville (estimated metropolitan population is 280,000) is best known for the cluster of high-tech industries built around NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center, the U.S. Army's Redstone Arsenal, and the 2,000-acre Milton K. Cummings Research Park -- one of the nation's pre-eminent research parks.

There are many things to see in Huntsville, including the world-famous U.S. Space and Rocket Center. Tourist information, including details on hotels, restaurants, and local points of interest, can be found at the Huntsville Convention and Visitor's Bureau (256) 551-2230, and at Everything Alabama.
