What can I get?

Use one or more General Search Engines

  1. NCBI PubMed Search Engine (Arguably, The Best Search Engine. Has links to many free PDFs. (Has limited coverage of evolutionary and ecological journals.

  2. Science Direct Search Engine (A Pretty good engine, with direct links to the subscribed Elsevier PDFs)

  3. Highwire Search Engine --A Pretty good search engine with links to the Free PDFs.

  4. Medline FirstSearch Engine --A crippled PubMed interface that indicates UAH Print Subscriptions. Only works on campus.

  5. Cambridge Scientific Search Engine --An Okay engine, with lousy links. Might be good for Evolution and Ecology?

  3. UAH Elsevier online subscriptions: Use Science Direct (Elsevier). Includes:

  4. UAH Wiley subscriptions: Use PubMed links or use Wiley InterScience. Includes:

  5. Other UAH online subscriptions?: Try EBSCO Search Engine. Includes Annual Review of Microbiology.

  6. None of the above?: Log in at Salmon Library, hit request and fill out a UAH Interlibrary Loan Form. Results may vary.
