Finding Articles
Locate an article either online or in the library’s print (periodical) collection. Go to http://lib.uah.edu/journals.htm to identify if the library owns the journal & the format - online or print.

Articles in online resources are the most current resource to obtain. Many databases offer not only an abstract of the article, but also full text or page image(pdf). Be advised not everything is available electronically.

It is important to write down or print out the complete citation:

This is the same information you will need for your reference list at the end of your paper.

Note: In online resources, many databases allow free email or free download of information. If you choose to download, you must bring a formatted disk.

Copying and printing at the Salmon Library costs $.10 per page black & white, $1.00 per page for color. Please bring small bills and/or change.
