Technical Requirements for Laptop
• Windows 2000 or XP
• MAC OS 10
• PDAs – Windows operating systems only (not Palm)
• No other operating systems will work on the UAH wireless network
How
• Find wireless signal and go to UAH Quarantine page
• Click on-line Patches program to update Windows patches
• Runs only on Win 2000 or XP – others should go to CNS

• If possible, check for Windows updates at home for faster registration
• Need your UAH username (first part of your UAH email address). Go to http://www.uah.edu/cgi-bin/dirread.cgi to look this up.
• Need your LDAP password (your UAH Banner ID). Go to http://register.uah.edu/ and click on Enter Banner Self Service to look this up.
• Run Virus scan to check for viruses
• Register
• May take an hour or more to get registered
