November 3. 5:30pm - 6:15pm.
Library room 214.

Presenter: Michael Manasco.

Prior to delving into the specifics about a company or industry, it can be useful to gain insights into the potential applications of your idea or product. Conducting marketing research will enable you to learn more about the current, past, and projected potential you face. We'll discuss major resources to gather various types of reports, as well as how to read them to empower the next steps in the process.

Business research requires the proper tools. Whether you're developing a new product, starting a new company, or gauging the state of an industry, you will need to gather data from a variety of sources to paint a complete picture and keep your decisions in context. Michael Manasco three classes will look at many of these tools available at UAH and as free resources online, to better help you understand marketing, industry, and company data.
