The UAH LAN Party is now happening once a semester! Join us again on Friday, April 2, in the UC  Exhibit Hall starting at 5:00 PM!
Our Fall 2009 LAN Party had over 500 attendees, and we expect our numbers to keep growing this year. We will be having a lot of firsts for our LAN Party this year. It will be on a Friday night, it will be running past midnight, and it will feature the UAH LAN Party OMEGATHON.
The Omegathon will feature a limited tournament consisting of four rounds and four different games. A few of the games may be announced prior to the event, but many of them will remain a surprise for the audience and the paricipants until the game is actually played.
Regular tournaments like we've had at all of our past three LAN Parties will continue, pre-registration for those tournaments are now open. We will also have a number of door prizes at the LAN Party, including games such as God of War III and Final Fantasy XIII. We will also be giving away all kinds of free snacks and drinks.

March 17 - Hope you're all having a great Spring Break! The LAN Party will be less than two weeks away once you're back in class. With that in mind, we wanted to let you know about our door prizes at the LAN Party. They will include Mass Effect 2 for PC, New Super Mario Bros on Wii, God of War III on PS3, and Final Fantasy XIII for Xbox 360.
You can pick up a ticket at the door of the LAN Party for a chance at winning the game of your choice. The first giveaway will be at 9:00 PM and the last will be at 11:00 PM. See you there!
March 8 - We're aware there was an issue with the registration forms for Call of Duty and Rock Band over the past week. These have been corrected, and you should be able to pre-register for those with no problem now. Also, we're happy to add the CounterStrike Source registration form as well!
March 1 - Really cool news today! We can officially announce that the 501st Legion of Stormtroopers will be in attendance at the LAN Party. The Huntsville branch of the 501st will be helping us raise funds for the Biology Memorial Scholarship, you can have a group photo taken with them for a five dollar donation to the fund. We're told that Darth Vader and other stormtroopers will be on hand, so be sure to stop by and have your picture with them!
February 25 - When you check in with us at the door of the LAN Party, be sure to look out for the donation box to the Biological Sciences Memorial Scholarship Fund. We will be accepting donations to the fund, which honors those that we have lost recently at UAHuntsville. The fund will help give scholarships to two UAHuntsville Biology students every year.
