Scholarships of Interest to UAH Women and Women's Studies Students

Overview

There are two types of scholarships available to women and Women's Studies students at UAH, UAH scholarships coordinated through the Financial Aid Office (and subject to the UAH online scholarship application), and outside scholarships coordinated by community organizations and available to UAH students (and subject to an independent application process).

You should also complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) application even if you do not think you qualify for need-based assistance or don't plan to take out loans. Many of the merit-based scholarships require FAFSA. Also, you might qualify for a work-study job or need a loan for unexpected expenses. You must renew the FAFSA form every year.

For more information on Financial Aid, go to their website or visit the Financial Aid Office in the University Center, Room 212.
