Statistics for the Social Sciences
Kyle Knight recently completed his Ph.D. in Sociology at Washington State University where he also earned his M.A. in Sociology in 2008. He is an environmental sociologist whose research focuses on understanding the various social forces that drive environmental degradation and advances toward environmental reform and improvement. Dr. Knight uses quantitative cross-national data to investigate such issues as environmental sustainability, organic agriculture, environmental concern, and resource consumption. His research has been published in Social Science Research, Social Science Quarterly, Society and Natural Resources, and Population and Environment. Dr. Knight will be teaching several courses at UAH including Statistics for the Social Sciences, Introduction to Sociology, and Environmental Sociology.
