UAH Pep Band

Overview

The UAH Pep Band, conducted by Stuart Tankesley, is the university's athletic band. The pep band is in charge of playing stand tunes and cheering at the Hockey, Men's Basketball, and Women's Basketball games. The pep band is open to all students regardless of major or skill level.

Pep Band Officers

President, Jared Wasson:

Jared is the 2012-13 President. He is a Senior Music Major. His instrument is Trumpet and this is his 4th year playing with the UAH Pep Band. He is usually seen at the hockey games wearing a blue and white duct tape top hat. Outside of band he enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee for the Pep Band intramural team.

Vice President, Dan Moore:

Dan is the 2012-13 Vice President. He is a Senior Computer Engineering Major. His instrument is Alto Saxophone and this is his 5th year playing with the UAH Pep Band. He is usually seen at the hockey games sporting his naruto head band.

Treasurer, Jessie Mauney: 

Jessie is the 2012-13 Treasurer. She is a Senior History Major. Her instrument is Trumpet and this is her 3rd year playing with the UAH Pep Band.

Secretary, Jaclyn Harmeyer:

Jaclyn is the 2012-13 Secretary. She is a Senior Biology Major. Her instrument is Flute and this is her 4th year playing with the UAH Pep Band.

Upperclassmen Representative, Foy Fuller:

Foy is the 2012-13 Upperclassmen Representative. He is a Senior Supply Chain Management Major. His instrument is Euphonium and this is his 4th year playing with the UAH Pep Band. Outside of band he enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee for the Pep Band intramural team.

Underclassmen Representative, Tom Gray:

Tom is the 2012-13 Underclassmen Representative. He is a Sophomore Mechanical Engineering Major. His instrument is Tuba and this is his 2nd year playing with the UAH Pep Band. Outside of band he enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee for the Pep Band intramural team.
