On Friday, March 14, Dr. Adam Kirkpatrick will be giving a master class with UAH voice students at 2:30 pm in Roberts Recital Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
Dr. Kirkpatrick is an associate professor of music at Kennesaw State University. He has sung operatic roles and concerts professionally in many theaters throughout the United States, singing with the: Cincinnati Opera, Atlanta Opera, Santa Fe Opera, Tri-Cities Opera (NY), Dayton Opera, Florida State Opera, Knoxville Symphony, Newton Symphony (MA), Tallahassee Symphony, Cobb Symphony (GA), Northwest Florida Symphony, Atlanta Ballet, and more.
Kirkpatrick holds a BM and MM in voice performance from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and earned his Doctor of Music degree from Florida State University.
Dr. Kirkpatrick is the inventor of a patented method for teaching singing using electromyographic (EMG) biofeedback, is the founder and CEO of the Sing With the Best, and recently released a new mobile app for voice analysis for use in vocal training.
