Undergraduate Scholarships

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE FRANCES C. ROBERTS SCHOLARSHIP

1. Must be a History major.
2. Junior/Senior standing [undergraduate preferred but can work with Financial Aids for graduate].
3. Must be a full-time student.
4. UAH GPA of 3.5.
5. Must show academic potential and promise.
6. The same person can hold the scholarship up to two years.
7. Financial needs considered.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOHN HENDRICKS SCHOLARSHIP

1. Must be a History major.
2. Full-time undergraduate.
3. Based on academic merit, citizenship and leadership.
4. The award may include support for room, board, & other expenses (determined by university).
5. May be eligible for renewal for up to four years of undergraduate study (if remain in good academic standing).
6. Award recipient (s) will be selected by the UAH Financial Aid Committee (on recommendation of History department).

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE HERITAGE JUNIOR WOMAN'S SCHOLARSHIP

1. Must be a Female History Major
2. Full-time undergraduate and/or graduate student.
3. Based on academic merit, citizenship, & leadership.
4. The award may include support for room, board, & other expenses (determined by university).
5. Awarded for one year ONLY.
6. The same person can reapply for consideration.
7. Financial needs considered.

Graduate Scholarships

We have available two tuition assistantships for History graduate students. These assistantships carry a tuition stipend for a full course load for the whole academic year for students who have been unconditionally admitted into the program.
