Latino-Latina Summer Institute

During the summer 2011 UAH professor Dr. Philip Kovacs along with several colleagues and UAHuntsville students hosted the first Latino-Latina Summer Institute.  The institute was designed to introduce middle and high school Latino-Latina students to learning activites on a university campus.  The students were engaged in activities that used science, math, and technology as a focus for their learning.  The 2012 institute will again be held on the UAHuntsville campus during the month of July.
