Extended Year Program

Each summer teacher candidates enrolled in EDC 302 - Introduction to Low Incidence Populations and EDC 341 - Transitions of K-12 Students spend four weeks assisting special education teachers and working one-on-one with students who have been identified with  special needs. UAHuntsville faculty and classroom teachers monitor and mentor teacher candidates as they interact with the students.
