Dr. Torres's lab is currently studying anger expression, sensory feedback, and cardiovascular reactivity. We are continuing our investigations into sensory variables that may accentuate or attenuate the emotion of anger. Several biological measures are taken during our experimental sessions.

The Stress Laboratory Facilities contain a Dinamap Vital Signs monitor and a number of portable digital monitors for recording blood pressure and heart rate. In addition, the laboratory has a Biopac for physiological recordings with electrodes for collecting EKG, EMG, EOG, GSR, EEG and temperature.

The three cubicles within the laboratory are adjacent with two one-way mirrors on the adjacent wall. A small refrigerator with freezer is also available for storing samples.
