The North Alabama Society of the Archaeological Institute of America will present the lecture "Placing Roman Women: Life, Luxury, and Longevity at an Iberian Villa," on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 7:30 p.m., in the Chan Auditorium. The University of Alabama Huntsville Retirees Association (UAHRA) will hold its fall meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at 11:30 a.m., in the Hospitality Room of Spragins Hall on the UAH campus. Mary Pat Bohrman of UAH's Continuing Education Department will be the guest speaker. She will talk about the educational and entertainment opportunities available through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at UAH. All UAH retirees are eligible to join UAHRA. The Watters Brothers Quintet, featuring trombonist Harry Watters and trumpeter Ken Watters, will present two concerts at on the UAH campus in Roberts Hall on Saturday, Oct. 6 at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 7 at 3 p.m. The UAH Jazz Band, directed by Don Bowyer, will be featured on the first half of the program for the Watters Memorial Concerts. Advance tickets may be purchased at AB Stephens, The Bandwagon of Huntsville, The Fret Shop, and the UAH Music Department. Admission is $15 for adults and $12 for students and seniors.
