Join the University Women's Club! Membership is open to all women faculty, staff, spouses/ significant others of faculty and staff, UAH alumnae and students. Women who work with UAH-related enterprises such as the University Fitness Center, Cramer Hall, WLRH, the Alabama Credit Union, the UAH Bookstore and the Tom Bevill Center are also included. You are invited to the annual UWC Membership Luncheon. It will be held in Murray Hall at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens on Friday, September 14th from Noon - 1:00 pm. Dreamland Barbeque will be catering the event. Guests of the club eat free and get a chance to learn about the UWC and what we are all about. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to purchase UAH parking decals by Monday, Sept. 17. The first decal will cost $25. Additional (limit two) decals may be purchased for $10 each. For more information, call 824- 6594.

College students interested in Cooperative Education (co-op) should attend "Co-op Employer Day" on Thursday, Sept. 20. The event will take place from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. in UAH’s University Center Exhibit Hall. University representatives, employers and college students involved in the program, will share information about co-op opportunities and experiences. Approximately 50 companies will be represented. The program is aimed at current and potential UAH students, and is also open to the public. For more information call 824-6741 or visit the website at coop@uah.edu.

UAH faculty, staff and students may purchase Big Spring Jam tickets from Eileen Farris, Shelbie King Hall room 324, until Friday, Sept. 28 at 5 p.m. One-day passes are $25, advance weekend tickets $40 and a weekend pass at the gate is $50.
