UAH Remembers....
Chandra S. Vikram, a research professor in Optics and the Center for Applied Optics, died Friday, Aug. 17. A member of the UAH faculty since 1989, Vikram received recognition and honors in the area of Applied Opics. He was known for his compassion, generosity and sense of humor.Rayburn Murphy, deputy assistant to the vice president of Facilities & Operations died on Friday, Aug. 24. He began his employment with at UAH in 1975. Murphy retired in 1996 after more than 20 years of service to the university.
