· How does your job contribute to the university's mission? Service – I believe assisting the prospective or new students. My goal is to make students feel welcome and for them to know that I am here to help them whether it be for information regarding the different majors in engineering, registration or they may just need to talk to someone. My door is always open.
· Good day - When a student or parent tells me I was most helpful to them and they leave with a smile on their face. That makes my day. That's what I am here for.
· Last book read - Second Chance by Danielle Steel
· Favorite movie - Coneheads
· Favorite TV Show - Deadliest Catch
· Favorite food - Bessinger's Barbecue in Charleston, SC
· Fondest campus memory - The day Dr. Aunon told me I was hired on permanently (I worked as a temp for 8 months)
· First job - McDonalds - training coordinator
· Indulgence - homemade ice cream
· Retreat - Jackie Siniard and I went on an all-girls long weekend to Myrtle Beach, SC last fall. How relaxing is that? Coffee in the mornings and watching for dolphins. Doesn't get much better than that!
· Inspiration – (Co-worker) Robin Douglas - Engineering Dean's Office. She has gone through so much. She probably doesn't realize what an inspiration she has been to me. She has shown such strength and determination. I really admire her.
