English Language Placement Test (ELPT)
The English Language Placement Test (ELPT) is an in-house placement test administered to incoming students who are (a) non-native speakers of English and (b) have been initially placed in one or more ILC classes. The test is offered at the beginning of each semester. It is given in Morton Hall Room 200 (MH 200).
Students should register for the ELPT by emailing the director of ILC at firstname.lastname@example.org. Students should include "Query: ELPT" in the subject line. Students should include their overall TOEFL or IELTS score (and subscores), their student identification number (A...), their status (undergrad/grad), and their major (Accounting, Mechanical Engineering, etc.) in the body of the message.
Students report to Morton Hall Room 200 at 2:00 p.m. on the test day. Testing can take 2-3 hours. For directions please view the campus map.
