To the Members of the Consortium of Humanities Centers
and Institutes:
The recent election for Steering Committee members has
resulted in a strong vote for "ALL" of those
nominated. As a result, we are glad to announce the election
of the following to the CHCI board: Lawrence Grossberg
(University Program in Cultural Studies, University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill), Daniel Herwitz (Institute
for the Humanities, University of Michigan), and Ann Waltner
(Institute for Advanced Study, University of Minnesota).
Hoping to see you all in Pasadena on March 9 and 10 for
the CHCI annual conference, "Regional Logics," sponsored
by the Huntington Library.
