The first Honors Program Student Council Movie Night is on Sunday, August 25 at 7:00 in the FFH MPR.  Join the HPSC in watching "Donnie Darko" and stick around for discussion afterward!

The beginning of  a new academic year can be overwhelming.  If you have any questions, remember you can always contact the Honors mentors in your college! Their job is to help!  If you need mentor contact information, contact Beth at Bethany.Wilson@uah.edu.

We are looking for 2013-2014 Honors Ambassadors! Honors Ambassadors play an important role in the Honors community and in the recruitment of promising new Honors students.  We are looking for at least one Honors Ambassador from each college who will help represent the Honors Program to prospective students, parents and others.  

Ambassador applications can be found here and are due by August 29, 2013.  Interviews will be held on September 4.

Our first Honors Hot Topic of the year will be held on August 29 at 6:30 in the Honors Lounge (MH 336). Discussion will be led by Dr. Aldo de Moor, of CommunitySense, the Netherlands.  Topic TBA.

If you're working on your Honors Thesis or planning on completing an Honors contract this Fall, please remember to have your proposal form submitted to the Honors Office no later than the second week of classes.  You can find these forms in the Honors Office or online.
