We have tickets for the January 18 performance of "Opera Birmingham" in the Honors Office!  It will be held at 7:30 at the Trinity United Methodist Church on Airport Road.  Stop by to pick up your ticket!

We are super excited to announce that both Honors floors will be located in Frank Franz Hall starting Fall 2013.  Only Honors students and Nursing students will be housed in FFH.  We're planning some really exciting things to make Honors Housing THE place to live!  Stay tuned!

We are looking for student volunteers who would like to attend the Alabama Collegiate Honors Council Conference in Montogomery on February 22-23, 2013.  This is a great opportunity to interact with other  Honors students in the state and gain some valuable leadership experience within the Honors Program!  Please email Beth at Bethany.Wilson@uah.edu if you are interested in attending.  We must know by Feb. 1 if you will be attending!

The Honors Program has FREE tickets to the American Shakespeare Center performances on February 5, 6 and 7.   There will be performances of William Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night,” “Love’s Labour’s Lost” and “The Duchess of Malfi.”  Pick up your tickets in the Honors Office (Morton 336).

If you’re interested in being an orientation leader at this year’s freshmen and transfer orientations, you are encouraged to attend one of the information sessions.  There will be 2 separate sessions held on January 22 and 23.  Both are from 4-5 pm and in LIB 111.  Any questions should be directed to orientation@uah.edu or you can stop by UC 106A.  To apply, go to www.tinyurl.com/uahol.  We would love to have some Honors students apply and get involved!
