Honors Program News
Research presentations were given at the Southern Regional Honors Council Conference at the Wynfrey Hotel in Birmingham, Alabama on March 27-29, 2008. Laura Moss, Gloria Powell, and Ryan Tonini gave presentations at this conference.
Laura Moss gave a presentation entitled "Globalization in the Banking Industry: A Comparative Study of the U.S. and Germany."
Gloria Powell's presentation was titled "The Mystery of Hope: The Pursuit of Salvation in the Works of T. S. Eliot."
"Design and Implementation of an Algorithm for Accurate Multi-Environment Position Tracking" was presented by Ryan Tonini.
Alabama Honors Research Day, April 11, 2008

Alabama Honors Research Day was held at University of Alabama in Birmingham this year. Students attending were Gloria Powell, Asuka Eguchi, John Bailey, Brittany Agius, and Ryan Tonini. Gloria Powell won the first place award for Arts and Humanities Podium Presentations.
Ryan Tonini won first place Podium Presentation in Engineering and Physical Sciences.
