Sexual Harassment & Sexual Violence Resources

UAH is committed to fostering a community that promotes prompt reporting of all types of sexual misconduct or violence and is committed to providing ongoing prevention and educational efforts to inform the campus community about these issues.

 

Procedure for students who wish to report sexual harrassment:

 Reports should be made to the Dean of Students, Dr. Regina Hyatt at 256-824-6700, regina.hyatt@uah.edu, or University Center Room 114.

Resources for students who may have been sexually assaulted:

• Tell Someone:  Report it to the University Police at 256-824-6911 or if you don't want to report it to the Police, report to it to the Dean of Students office at 256-824-6700.  
• Talk to Someone:  Talk to a friend or your RA or RD; Contact the Counseling Center at 256-824-6203 or the Crisis Center of North Alabama at 256-716-4052
