Crises generally involve a situation in which someone’s safety is at risk (oftentimes a potentially life-or-death situation). In any circumstance in which you believe your safety or the safety of someone else is in danger, treat it as a crisis and seek help IMMEDIATELY!

Crisis intervention is a service offered to students who are in serious, immediate emotional distress. Counselors are on call to handle emergencies such as suicide attempts, rape or attempted rape, physical assaults, and other types of crises. We can be contacted after hours through university police.
