Human Resource Development (HRD) Travel Support

The program provides three types of domestic travel support for undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty members, post-doctoral associates and researchers involved in energy related research to:  1) encourage the initiation and ongoing relationship with one of the ten world-class laboratories managed by the DOE Office of Science, 2) promote the utilization of DOE national user facilities,  3) increase intellectual collaboration between Alabama researchers and DOE scientists, and 4) disseminate results of DOE supported research. For a list of national laboratories and their facilities log onto: http://www.science.doe.gov/National_Laboratories/SC%20Labs%20Booklet_October%202008.pdf .
