Visit this link to find contact information for your department’s advisor. Meet with your advisor to discuss your plan of study and obtain your Registration Access Code (RAC). Your RAC is needed to register for classes.

Visit the bursary’s website for information on installment plans, paying your bills, and signing up for direct deposit. Paper bills are not disbursed.

For all UAH users, your Charger Card (University ID) is your library card. It is required for all transactions at the User Services Desk. You'll need to know your Charger ID and A# to log into the library computers.
Circulation Details for UAH Graduate Students – 50 books at a time, for 90 days at a time; 1 renewal. Fines: $0.25 per day overdue fine; $25.00 maximum

If you will be parking on campus, purchase a parking decal from the UAH Police Department. You can purchase your decal online or in person at the Police Department office. Fines for on-campus parking and moving violations start at $50.00.

All UAH students are required to obtain an official UAHuntsville photo identification card (Charger Card). Every newly admitted student will be charged a one-time fee of $10.00 for the Charger Card. Students may obtain a Charger Card in the University Center (UC), room 147, from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Verification of class schedule and photo ID required. The Charger Card will give you access to campus facilities and services and will allow you to make purchases at participating locations.

All campus community members should have two IDs:
Charger ID (or LDAP ID) - This is your primary campus ID and serves as the base of your official uah.edu email. Typically the format consists of your initials followed by a 4 digit sequence number (e.g., 0001). Your Charger ID is used to sign into ChargerNet, Wireless, ANGEL, Google Apps, and ITS. Your default password can be retrieved by contacting the TAG Help Desk at 256-824-3333.
A# (or Banner ID) – Your A# will be mailed to you. If you cannot remember your A#, you will need to contact TAG at 256-824-3333 or Charger Central at 256-824-7777. If you have forgotten your PIN, would like to change your PIN, or want to reset your PIN to the default, follow the steps found on the Banner Password Reset page.

UAlert is UAHuntsville's emergency notification system. UAlert is a comprehensive communications solution that allows the University to quickly disseminate an urgent message through multiple communication methods including: voice messages to cell, home and office phones, text messages to cell phones, email messages, UAHuntsville, UAHuntsville ITS, and UAHuntsville Police Facebook pages, UAHuntsville Twitter Feed (@UAHuntsville), and RSS Feeds.

Students must submit completed immunization forms and supporting documentation (available at http://www.uah.edu/health-and-wellness/student-health-center/forms) to the Student Health Center at least 30 days before the start of classes. All new students, regardless of classification, must have:
If you were born after 1956, proof of two (2) measles containing vaccinations. One of these vaccines must be an MMR vaccination after 1980.
Acceptable proof of tuberculosis screening that is no more than twelve months old.
All first-time freshmen and students living in campus housing must also show proof of a meningitis vaccine.
Your health care provider should complete and sign the immunization form and Tuberculosis screening form as acceptable proof of immunizations and TB screening. Self-Service Banner (SSB)

This interface is widely used by students, faculty, and staff to display and manage personal and academic information or perform certain tasks or procedures.
To sign on, click on the option entitled "Enter Banner Self-Service." You will be prompted for your User ID (this is your Banner ID or "A" Number) and PIN.
Note: The "A" listed in your user identifier must be entered in upper case or your log-in will fail. If you do not know your default PIN, please contact the TAG Help Desk at 256-824-3333.

Class Registration - http://www.uah.edu/registrar/registration/instructions
After you have met with an advisor and received a Registration Access Code (RAC), log in to Self-Service Banner and register for your classes.
Access billing information and pay tuition online - You may view your semester charges online and get a copy of your bill on your Banner self-service website.
View Class Schedule - View your class schedule and class location through the Banner portal or the ITS portal.
Determine Which Books You Need for Class

Each term, i.t. solutions prepares official UAHuntsville email accounts for all registered UAHuntsville students. When your account has been created, it will be listed under the "View Email Addresses" link under the "Personal Information" menu of Student Self-Service.
It is important to note that your account will not be created until you have registered for classes. Once you have registered, simply sign on to SSB to see if your account has been created: if your account is listed, then it is ready for your use.

ChargerNet is a portal site that contains links to helpful information, as well as direct links to all your UAH accounts. Once you have signed into ChargerNet (using your Charger ID), you will have access to Banner, Email, and Angel.
Google Apps – http://google.uah.edu
Google Applications for Education is used for your official UAH email account. UAH students are provided with a Gmail account and also have access to other useful applications, such as Calendar and Documents. You will log in to Google Apps using your Charger ID at google.uah.edu or using you official email address (chargerid@uah.edu) at google.com.

ANGEL – https://angel.uah.edu/
ANGEL is a tool used by many professors to administer quizzes, assign homework, and communicate with students. Use your ChargerID to log in to ANGEL.
ITS Portal - https://apps.uah.edu/ITSPortal/
The ITS user services portal access to activate your Google account, reset the password, or synchronize the password with your Charger (LDAP) account password. You can also import your class schedule to the Google calendar, or migrate your emails to a different account.
Charger Path – https://uah-csm.symplicity.com/ Charger Path is your online career management system. Log in instructions are sent to your UAHuntsville email address. Your username is your A number. Your initial password is generated by the Charger Path system and comes to you in a welcome email at the time you receive your account. If you forget your password just login with your A number and click "Forgot Password." A new temporary password will be created and sent to your UAHuntsville email address. To properly configure your computer for log-in to the wireless network, follow the instructions in the appropriate Wireless Quick Start Guide (available at the above address) for your operating system.
Please note: You will need the passkey phrase that corresponds to your network (e.g. Student, Staff, Faculty). You can find this information on the menu option “Passkeys” (http://www.uah.edu/its/services/wireless/passkeys). You will need to provide your Charger ID credentials to view this page.

UAH Health Center – http://www.uah.edu/health-and-wellness/student-health-center/about
The Health Center is located in the University Center, upstairs from the cafeteria, in room 203. The Student Health Center provides on-campus health care to currently enrolled students.
Once you are attending at least three credit hours of classes, you may take advantage of the services provided by the Student Health Center. The Student Health Center is designed to meet your basic health care needs. Our services include acute care, physicals for employment or athletics, immunizations, women’s health, and vaccinations. The nurse practitioners may prescribe medications as needed.
Currently the fee for an office visit is $10.00 to be paid on the date of service. The Health Center charges the same for insured and uninsured students. However, the center does not file insurance. If you would like to apply charges to your insurance, you may request a written statement of the costs.
