Guide to Outright Gifts and Contributions
Over 2,500 alumni and friends made outright gifts of cash or other assets to support students and other
programs at UAH last year. These gifts are fully deductible for federal income tax purposes, subject to
the limitations placed on charitable gifts.
The most common gift made to UAH is a gift of cash in the form of a check, a money order or a credit
card charge. Giving Online is UAH's own secure, encrypted system that enables you to make a gift
with the convenience of your credit card.
Many donors choose to make gifts in the form of common stock or other securities.
Items of personal property that have value to the university are sometimes donated as gifts by donors.
UAH reserves the right to accept or refuse all non-cash gift contributions.
