Transfer Students
New Transfer Scholarships
Transfer students are an important part of the UAH community. We are proud to recognize new transfer students who have achieved academic success by offering special two-year awards to support their studies at UAH. Students who submit an Application for Admission, official transcripts, and have completed a minimum of 24 credit hours are automatically eligible for consideration. No separate scholarship application is required.
Students must be admitted to UAH to be eligible for these awards. Priority consideration is given to students who are admitted to UAH by June 1. Students admitted after the priority deadline may be eligible for awards as funding is available.
Super Scholar Transfer Scholarship
- Minimum 3.50 cumulative college GPA
- Awarded $3,000 annually (2 years)
Transfer Merit Scholarship
- Minimum 3.00 cumulative college GPA
- Awarded $1,500 annually (2 years)

Departmental Scholarships: Deadline for Priority Consideration: December 1
Departmental scholarships are competitive scholarships made available to students through the generosity of alumni and friends of the University. Student eligibility is based on a variety of criteria, including academic interests and achievements, special talents, and demonstrated leadership. The UAH Scholarship Application is used to determine eligibility for all departmental awards. The scholarship application and the application for admission should be submitted by December 1 for priority consideration.
