International Students

GENERAL INFORMATION

UAHuntsville international students may apply for all UAHuntsville scholarships and must submit a scholarship application by December 1 of each year for priority consideration. For information on filling out the application, go to the help page.

In order to be considered for any scholarships, a completed scholarship application must be submitted online. Once a scholarship application has been submitted, changes other than editing or re-sending email requests for letters of recommendation cannot be made to the application online. All changes must be submitted to the Office of Student Financial Services, using the contact information below. 

When a student submits the scholarship application, it is disseminated to the Office of Admissions and the college/school in which you will major (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business, Engineering, etc.) for scholarship consideration. Entering freshmen are not responsible for submitting numerous applications to different departments.

ENTERING FRESHMEN

International students who are entering freshmen are eligible for all freshman awards.

CURRENT UNDERGRADUATES

International students who are current undergraduate students are eligible for undergraduate scholarships.

TRANSFER STUDENTS

International students transferring to UAHuntsville after having completed a minimum of 24 credit hours from an accredited institution of higher learning are eligible for transfer scholarships.
