Scholarships are a great way to help finance your college education and best of all they are financial awards that do not have to be repaid. Scholarships are awarded based on criteria such as excellence in academics, community service and demonstrated leadership. To be considered for a UAHuntsville scholarship, you must first apply for admission and then complete a scholarship application. A submitted scholarship application guarantees consideration for any and all available awards..

Astrophysics major

“I zeroed in on UAHuntsville because of its astrophysics program. I’m a senior now, a double major in astrophysics and math, an Honors student, and winner of the Physics Department Award. I also spent two summers in a full-time research co-op, perfecting data systems for a missile defense program. And, I was also trained and hired as PASS leader, helping other students in my mentor’s astronomy class. Next stop: My Ph.D. Next next stop: University professor!”
