CAMPUS PRIORITIES AND RESOURCES ADVISORY COMMITTEE

Charge:

To provide the President with advice on a broad range of topics involving resource acquisition and allocation. The topics include, but are not limited to, reviewing drafts or proposals for major budgetary allocations, salary improvement policies, priorities for construction or renovation of facilities, strategic plans from various units, legislative budget requests, and student fee increases.

In its deliberations, the Committee is guided by consideration for the welfare of the university as a whole. Each member of the Committee is understood to represent the entire university, not just one of its parts.

Composition: 22 (1 ex-officio) Term:

Administrators: Indefinite

Student Term: One Year

Faculty Senate Reps.: One Year

Staff Senate Reps.: One Year

Selection: The Current Faculty Senate Executive Committee

The Current Staff Senate Executive Committee

Two students are elected by the Student Government Association for one-year terms.

Five members from the administration are selected by the President from among the vice presidents, deans, directors, or other administrative

officers.

The President may appoint a coordinator to serve as an ex officio member.
