Annual Rocket City WeatherFest hosted by the UAH student chapter of the American Meteorological Society/National Weather Association, Saturday, Feb. 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., free and open to the public. 

Keynote speaker will be Mike Bettes from the Weather Channel, presentation entitled "The Life of a Broadcast Meteorologist: Four Seasons of Thrills." Other scheduled events include speakers, an official NWS spotter training course as well as an official weather balloon launch, exhibits and weather related children's activities, weather-related companies, UAH research staff, emergency vehicles, and the UAH severe weather research vehicles.
