The UAH College of Education (CoEd) and Enhanced Teaching and Learning Center (ETLC) are partnering to cohost the first annual "Teach 2 INCLUDE" Conference on the campus of the University of Alabama in Huntsville. The UAH-based "Teach 2 INCLUDE" Conference provides a setting for educators in K-12 and higher education to explore topics related to diversity and inclusion in the classroom. Each year going forward, Teach 2 INCLUDE will be centered on a key diversity theme. The inaugural conference will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023, and the theme is Leading with World Languages.

  • The conference will open at 8:30 with the first speaker at 9 am and conclude at 3:45 pm.
  • Dr. Krista Chambless, Associate Professor of Foreign Languages and Education at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, will deliver the keynote address.
  • CEUs (0.4) can be earned through the conference. Lunch is included in the registration fee.
