Examine the spectacular ingenuity of both code makers and code breakers in a historical context that begins in Mesopotamia  and continues to the present day.  Attendees will learn how codes and ciphers were used by using examples from the historical records.  As a bonus, you will learn how codes and ciphers are actually created, and make and break codes yourselves to get a better understanding into this arcane field.
