The Beta Phi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International will sponsor a domestic violence awareness initiative on October 23, 2018. 

A booth will be set up on the  1st floor of the College of Nursing and at the breezeway at Charger Union.  Members of the Crisis Services of North Alabama will be assisting us in taking donations - either money or items from the needs list (attached).  Also, we will be collecting old cell phones.  Even though the phone is not in use, it will still dial 911 in an emergency. 

All proceeds go to the Hope Place - Crisis Services of North Alabama.

When you give, you will be given a purple ribbon signifying that you supported this event.

This initiative is in memory of Pam, a Registered Nurse, who died in a domestic violence situation 10 years ago.
