On August 21, 2017, there will be a total solar eclipse visible from Oregon to South Carolina— diagonal path of totality that is about 70 miles wide; that path will include cities like Nashville and Charleston.

When the eclipse takes place, NASA scientist Mitzi Adams will be in Clarksville, TN where totality will last for 2 minutes, 17 seconds.

Join us to hear how Mitzi participated in planning for the event, and how she and a group of students from the USSRC and Austin Peay State University, and scientists from NASA and UAH will perform science experiments and observe this historic event.
