The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) Department of Music will present a Double Reed Day event on Saturday, Jan. 14, in Roberts Recital Hall on the UAH campus.

UAH Department of Music faculty, Jennifer Scott Case (Oboe and English horn), and Hunter Thomas (Bassoon) welcome all double reed students in grades 5-12. The day's activities are free with lunch provided and participants get a UAH Double Reed Day T-shirt (if they register before Jan. 6th). Students will also be entered into a prize drawing. REGISTER HERE!

The event is hosted by faculty members Jen Case, and Hunter Thomas, and the UAH Department of Music.

All students are asked to bring their instruments, reeds, and reed making tools. Students need to bring a copy of their All-State music to follow along in the class. Students planning to perform in the master class, should bring their music and accompaniment.
