Please join UAH Theatre at this Saturday's 7:30pm performance of Proof in the Wilson Theatre for a post-show talkback discussion, featuring Jason Knight from the UAH Mathematical Sciences Department, to dive deeper into the world of the play. A talkback is a fun and informative way for audiences to learn more about the advanced mathematical concepts discussed in play and how they impact the lives of the characters. 

 

Proof, a Tony and Pulitzer award-winning play, is the story of Catherine, a gifted mathematician, who has spent years caring for the brilliant but unstable father, a famous mathematician himself. Now, following his death, she must deal with her own volatile emotions; the arrival of her estranged sister, Claire; and, the attentions of Hal, a former student of her father's who hopes to find valuable work in the 103 notebooks that her father left behind.
