Grad Finale
Grad Finale will be held on Monday, March 3, 2008, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, March 4, 2008, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in University Center Exhibit Hall. Representatives from numerous departments will be available to assist degree candidates (undergraduate and graduate) with all aspects of graduation including, cap and gown ordering, degree checkout and commencement details.The following University offices will provide information at Grad Finale:
- The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs will answer questions about Commencement, scheduled for Sunday, May 11, 2008, 2:00 p.m. at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
- The University Bookstore will have all Commencement items for purchase, including robes, caps, tassels, announcements, invitations and diploma frames. If you place an order for a class ring at Grad Finale, you will be able to have it presented at a special Ring Ceremony. You must pick up these regalia items at Spring Grad Finale.
- The Alumni Relations Office will welcome you as a UAH alumnus.
- The Office of the Registrar will answer questions regarding completion of degree requirements, honors, diplomas and transcripts.
- The Graduate School will be available to assist graduating master and doctoral students. Information about UAH?s graduate programs and how to enroll in them will also be available.
- The Student Financial Services Office will answer questions regarding financial concerns such as student loan repayment, etc.
- The Career Services Office will answer questions about job search assistance including resume referrals and interview opportunities.
- International Students will be able to discuss opportunities available for them after graduation.
- Alabama Credit Union will answer questions about internet account access and electronic telephone service, loans and VISA credit cards, and more, and will also be available to open new accounts.
