2007 Huntsville STC Salary Survey Report

• Employers benefit from information on compensation trends in the profession. In periods of high demand it can be crucial to understand how compensation influences an employers ability to attract and retain employees.

Partial results of the STC national salary survey results for 2007 will be available to members online at http://www.stc.org/stcmembers/salaryDatabase01.asp (to be posted in June 2008).  The Society is now charging members to downloading the PDF of full results of that salary survey.

Brief Summary - We received 103 usable surveys from part-time and full-time technical communicators.  (Surveys that did not report gross salary had to be discarded.)  Compensation analysis is based on 99 full-time respondents.
